How long does it take for SPS frags to color up?

Hi, I had a couple of frags that bleached out because I didn't acclimate them slow enough to light. I used the same acclimation approach with my other SPS corals, but obviously, these two guys have lower light requirements than the others that I had in my system. I thought they were a lost cause, but I put them in a low light area, and despite being brown, I noticed the polyps are beginning to come out again. Anyone with any experience bringing bleached corals back from the brink and how long it took for them to color back up?

Thanks!

I got some frags sent to me like 6 months ago and the water was SO cold when I got them and they are still brown but have grown a lot. Can be a long time. I also had a small frag I got out of a guys tank that was messed up and its suppose to be pink but its brown had it for a year its grown 10x the size but is still brown. Others can color up quick the most important thing with SPS i've noticed is moving it up into light way slower than you would think for best results. It almost makes it crave light it seems like rather than shock it so when you do move it up more they blow up. Personal observations.

To colour up the frag, the nutrient in the water must be very low, if not it will take a long time. For me brown to colour will take from 2 weeks to 6 mths depending on how long the sps has been in brown state, the longer it has been in brown state, the harder to colour up. The type of sps is important also like brown birdnest will colour up a lot fast then humili
