How long for SPS to settle in?

I just picked up my first SPS 2 weeks ago, a blue millipora. So far polpy extension has been excellent. In light of this, I'm considering picking up another acro this weekend. My question is, how long does it take an SPS to show negative reactions to a system? In other words, my acro has done excellent the last two weeks, so can I safely add more, or should I wait.

SPS can show negative signs at anytime, but if you make it through the first 2 days you are pretty safe, and after about 2 weeks even better. The first 2 days are really just making sure that they adapt to your aquarium and the 2 weeks is to your lights. Although it is typical for corals to take 6 months before they reach their full color appearance.
