How long is the life of a TUNZE turbelle Powerhead

I am thinking about buying a set of 6100 or 6000 powerheads with the controller. With regular maintance and all that ......how long will a TUNZE live for??

I know saltwater breaks down plastic and electrical cords over time....but what is the realistic life of a TUNZE??

I see plenty of 10-15 year old pumps come in for repair, they aren't Streams but they are electronic pumps and of very similar construction. I would say you should expect 5-10 years with reasonable care.
