how long is your lighting on

i was courious about how long everyone keeps thier lights on in thier tank? i think im keeping mine on too long 12 to 14 hrs.

12 hours for supplemental lights (VHO's, PCs) 5 - 8 for MH during the supplemental light period.

To ensure my 2 x 65W Compacts provide enough for my LPS, I run an extended lighting schedule to make up for a lack of intensity.

Actinics run 14 hours
10K runs 12.5 hours

Good to hear it. The red monte cap I got from you looks to be doing well, also.

I ended up with some Kenya from Bill and Walker. I originally thought the one from Walker was a colt, but it turned out to be a huge kenya that produced babies like crazy. I am down to two small ones now. It won't be long before I am ready to trade some green hairy mushrooms that are splitting.
