How long to dip for PM

I just noticed that a small part of my Derasa has pinched mantle. How long is the FW dip supposed to last to treat this? Also, after I dip can I reuse the freshwater for top off or should I discard it?

Edit: I just went back and looked, and the part that was pinched wasn't anymore. It looked like it still might be a little bit pinched though. Should I dip anyway if I expect it or will it make my clam sad?

no dont dip it. just watch the clam and if it happens again get a good clear photo of the whole clam and post it
