how long to drop SG?

the SG in the office tank today was 1.035. long story.... how long should i take to lower SG to 1.025.

it is a 46 gal with 2 clowns a RBTA, GSP, pom pom xeina, torch, and some hairy mushrooms.

do it over 2-3 days and you wont have any worries. the fish can handle it in 24-48 hours from my experience.

fwiw, when I went to hypo in the tank early on, i went from 1.026 to 1.009 in 12 hours and fish were all fine.. no inverts though....

Rainwater, Runoff, Deep Sea Currents and all kinds of fluctuations in Salinity in the ocean happen very fast and have little to no effect on anything in the ocean. JMHO
