How long to get poly extension on leather

These 2 leathers have both been in the tank 24 hours. The green one came out of a tank with good flow and good light but the finger looked good at the store but it didn't have much flow or light. The green one's polys came out quick but I am wondering how long it will take for the finger to start looking better.

They are both about 12 inches under water with a 250 watt 10000K Reeflux bulb and medium flow.

I read that they should have good light and medium to strong flow, is this correct.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i would just give it time it will open up

This is normal. Leathers are real sensitive to changes. Sometimes they seem to do this for no reason at all. I've seen em get hard and slough like that for a week at a time and not come out. Just give them time, they will shed that skin and come out bigger and better than ever normally
