How long to treat for bacterial infections after symptoms disappear.

I noticed that my powder blue had a few white patches on him in the display tank. I have seen this before in other fish, noticably tangs, in the past and have learned that it was a bacterial infection. He is in a 20 gallon hospital tank and I'm treating him with paranox which is like "Cure all". It's been a day and the white patches are almost all gone. I will be doing 90-95% daily water changes since this medicine will wipe out the biological filtration. The medicine says to treat with 2 treatments. Do you think I should at least keep him in a hospital tank for at least 2 weeks and treat as necessary before moving him to quarantine just to play it safe or keep him in the same tank longer and just not medicate? Thanks in advance.

I would run the full treatment course, then observe two weeks after.

Update. He is doing really well. He has bounced back and is eating like a pig again. It's amazing if you catch something right away and treat, how fast they bounce back. Thanks for the replies.
