how long to wait ?

my tank is up and running for a month and a half , maybe longer . last week i added a cleaning crew , and two small gobies . they are all doing ok. the water all check out . how long should i wait before i start adding sps coral ? thanks for the help

Hard to say for sure, but, usually when you see corraline algae starting to grow, it's enough time.

Until you stop finding any fluctuations at all while doing weekly test. One of the biggest keys to keeping SPS corals is stability.

Stability IMHO is much more a key to keeping SPS than any of the other talked about factors (ie lighting, water quality, and/or flow). IMO anyone can keep SPS with less than perfect conditions of the 3 above mentioned factors.

They may not thrive, but they will survive.
