How long untill they breed?

I purchased two percula clownfish from a LFS about three weeks ago. They paired immediatly and now are shakeing infront of each other and cleaning the rocks. About how long will it be before these fish breed and how much time do I have to set up a rotifer culture? Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm guessing it depends on how old they are. My ocellaris took 2 years. I've seen no sign of my percs at over a year.

I wouldn't worry about rotifers at this point, just wait and see. From what I've seen a lot of people let the first two go by as practice.

it is hard to tell the age of these clowns but the female is some where around 3 to 3 1/2 inches...the male about 2 1/2

perucla or oceallaris. if percula you are out of luck, they usually take 2+ years from the day they pair up til laying eggs.
oceallaris usually take 1 - 1.5 years.
