how long can i keep sps in a tupperware with water if i keep it in a cooler? i wanted to keep it for 5 hrs...too long?

should be good to go. 2 days is probably about the limit you would want to keep coral in a container.

Try to think of it in terms of how a coral or anything else gets to you from the ocean. They are bagged, usually in the South Pacific and flown next day airmail. Some corals will only take 1 day in a container with sufficient oxygen, others might last two, but thats stretching it.

Keeping the coral at the lower end of its acceptable temperature range will maximize the amount of available dissolved oxygen.
