How mad would your wife be....

If she came home to find out that while she was gone you decided that the closet to the spare bedroom would be a great spot for a new built in reef tank?

I'm hoping that mine will be understanding! :D

You are nutz! You did not talk it over at all? Just did that? I would buy her whatever she wants because unless your wife is an angel .... But then we all put up with our men's hobbies. I can't tell you how many gun safes, fishing poles, boats ....

I joke on RC about my wife, and my spending, but actually, she's pretty understanding.

Cutting holes in walls, and setting up a new tank...that's taking it to a whole new level. Unless I had a new Range Rover in the driveway for her, I don't think I'd try that. :D

You are indeed a brave, brave individual..... or a very foolish one.

On the plus side.... it'll be an awesome installation when it's done!

Was this HER closet or yours? All men should know never even to enter their wives' closets...let alone empty them out and cut holes. Mine would kill me before I got the tank finished!!!

Damn, dude... There is a tank in the right of the scene and another in the left. How many tanks are you going to run. For me three is to many and two is just right.

Anyways, nice work with the sawzall. Hopefully your wife will not use the sawzall on you Lorena Bobbitt style...

man i love the location i wish i had closet with access from another room. i just subscribed. But i see you have several tank already, Good LucK with the wife.

Speaking as a wife-If everything was cleaned up and I didn't have to clean up after your little brainstorm and I had another closet or if that one didn't matter to me then hey good thinking and I like it! Are you moving the freestanding one to that area or are you starting a new one?

Well there is nothing she can do now, the damage is done. I'd be interested in seeing how you end up plumbing this to the display tank. Keep us updated on the build and the marriage.

Hmm...I like the thinking here. Maybe I'll just cut a big arse hole in one of my walls...too late, damage is done, I guess we'll have to plug up that hole with a new tank. :D
