I'm removing all crabs from tank due to my tiger goby being attacked last night. I want to switch to (reef safe) snails maybe they all are not sure but how many for a 55 gallon tank 48*12*21 if I remember right going tomorrow have to go hunting for crabs tonight!!

Scarlet legged hermits are very safe and the only crab of any kind I allow to live in my DT. Depending on how much rock you have I'd say between 6-8
