How many at once?

How many corals can you safely add to a tank at one time,
without upsetting water params?
I know with fish just one or two (depending on size), and then let the tank recover, but I've never kept coral so I'm clueless. Tank has about 130 gal including sump/fuge .

as many as you want but you have to keep an eye on your parameters as corals will deplete your Mg and Ca levels...

as long as you are doing water changes and/or adding kauck glosser (spelling), or other suppliments you can add as many as you want Iguess it depends on the salt you are using but you tank having 130 gallons should have plenty of everything a coral needs for a while. also depends on if you are adding sps lps or mushies leathers or polyps. The stony corals will need more suppliments

So I really won't have to worry about starting up another mini cycle like with fish.....?.....G R E A T !!!!!!
I'm watching my Mg, Cal, Alk, & PH like a hawkfish and ready with a 2 part supp!

lol

1st you dont need to use Kalk.. there are lots of ways to maintain Ca

2nd it does not matter what salt you use

FYI

ya i'm with bebo. You dont need kalk. And i also agree that it doesnt matter what salt you use. Some are better than others yes, but thats cuz the additives in them (some add all the elements, some add 1, some dont add any). The salt itself is the same...just like motor oil. If you go to walmart and get a bottle of the stuff, and then go to checker and get one, the only difference is name...same oil, but each brand/company will add their own detergents to the oil.
Same thing with salt...same thing, they just add dif. additives...some will keep your levels higher/better for longer, while others wont, and those are the ones you'd have to actually dose something if water changes arent cutting it.
