How many clams can you have in a tank

Im wondering as I have 8 gallon tank with a 150w light

I was only interested in Maximas or Crocs

Whats the maximum number I could keep ?

I don't recommend keeping clams in a tank that small. Keeping up on the params is a big issue. I'd say at the most 2 crocea's or 1 maxima.

you wont have much calcium it will be sucked up fast....

Its a cube - 12 inches by 12 by 13 high

But thanks anyways - I have one croc in there and one maxima.

If they are not doing well then I will split them and put the maxima in other tank...

im not saying much but, i have alot of calcium demanding corals in my 10g and all i will say is i cant wait untill i get my bigger tank set up and throw the 10 away so my coral/clam never have to see it again.
