how many crabs/shrimp???

i'm new to this sight so i thought i'd ask a question......First I'll intruduce myself my name is shannon my husbands name is mike we enjoy this hobby (though its very expensive) we have a 240 gallon fish only tank in this tank we have
queen angel
emperor angel
2 heniochus
regal tang
clown trigger
picasso trigger
surge wrasse
porcupine puffer
black and white dogface puffer
lionfish
and a naso tang
we LOVE this tank

we just started a 180 gallon reef tank we have only had it going for about 2 weeks we have a few corals in there
2 hammer coral
umbrella leather
clam
brain coral
mushroom
polyp
my husband was on a website that recommended a sand bed stirring team which suggested he buy 36 trochus snails and 84 cerith snail is this right??? this seems like way to many

wow got 180 up in 2 weeks has it cycled yet? no that is not to many sounds about right. but you might want to hold off till your tank is stable. your corals are in danger when the tank starts to cycle and your water peramiters go south.

we cycled it using 200 lbs of live rock from someone who was trying to get rid of their reef tank so we bought his rock off of him we had the owners of the shop we go to come out to our house and set it up they tested our water and said it was good
