How many fish in a 29g?

I was wondering how many fish would max-out Brooke's tank. She now has 2 ocs and 1 royal gramma which I thought was about right. But ya know how it is. She keeps seeing fish that she really likes and asks me "daddy can I have one of those". So, I was wondering if we could put in just one more.:rolleye1:

Which brings me to the second part of my question. If we can put in one more, then what to put in. I tried to talk her into firefish from the beginning, but she didn't care for them. She really likes some of the dwarf angels. Particularly the potters angel, flame angel, and coral beauty. I told her potters are to difficult. But of the other two, I have read mixed opinions on reef tank suitability. What do ya'all think?

IMO, you could add soemthing along the lines of watchman goby, clown goby, neon goby

you definitely need to slow down though...my tank is 4+ months old and I dont have any fish

I would agree I would not add any additional fish to the system but I am of the school that says less is more. IMHO you are at the upper limit now.

At a mature age my 180 will have no more than 10 fish of a smaller variety. I like them to have plenty of elbow room. Also makes more room for inverts. =D

Me, I like fish. Lots of color and movement. DO you have a skimmer Brian? How much live rock versus room?

I might add a Goby or a firefish, maybe a pseudochromie, but that'd definately be it.

Tell Brooke only one more fish, and it has to be a small one. However tell her you have to wait a month until everything settles in a bit.

3 is about it for a tank that size. My first tank was a 58, and I had 5 fish, which some thought was quite a few, and nothing bigger than a dwarf angel.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinkin'. Maybe if all is still well in a month or so, we may see about a goby. Thanks for comments everyone.
