hey i have a 100g reef tank..i currently have 1 medium sized blue hippo tang, 1 large powder blue tang, 1 medium sized yellow tang, 2 six-line wrasses 1 small 1 large (and they dont fight! :D) 1 small flame angle, 1 small royal bicolor, 2 clown fish, 1 small 1 medium sized, 10 snails and 1 cleaner shrimp.... also got a few frags and softies in the tank as well... i just went reef after having a salt water fish only tank for a few years. just wanted to know about how many more fish i could add??

i am looking to add at lest 1 Anthias and a blue-green chromis and mabey a manderian :) just not sure if that would be to many fish to have

Do you have a bigger tank to move some of the fish to once they grow more? I'm just worried about the hippo tang when it is full grown.

9 fish in a 120 isn't too bad. You might get some flack from people because you have three tangs in there, but I'm not one of those people.

While it's true that the tangs need a lot of space, the rest of your fish require minimum tanks sizes of 30 gallons or less.

Personally, I would stay away from teh anthias for two reasons: 1) they need a lot of swimming space to do well and as stated above you already have three tangs, and 2) they tend to do best in schools and I would not recommend you get more then one or 2 fish tops!

If you have a lot of pods, the mandarin may be a decent option. The chromis isn't a bad option either, but typically they like schools too. Of your three options, if you add anything, I would make it the mandarin.

That's my .02

i have both i am taking about my 100g and i was planning on moving the hippo when he gets bigger but he wont get around that size until about antoher year or so

i also had a question about my softies and some of my polyps

host it online somewhere like photobucket, then copy and paste the link and put it in brackets

.... not sure if this 1 is dead or alive i really cant tell it opens up some times and is brown with an orange middle and a cool looking polyp when it opens but for some reason it is always closed :*(

This monti cap requires strong lighting such as Metal halide, and you are right it is bleached out.
