How many frags could I get?

I am thinking of picking up a favia coral that is around 4 - 5" round. I have an 18" cube and don't want the full coral in my nano. I would put a smaller frag in the nano and a back up frag in the 250 at home. But I would likely look at selling other frags off. Any idea how many I could likely get out of a 4 - 5" round coral?

i think 1"x1" is a good minimum size (survivability wise) for favia frags. So i dunno, maybe 15-20 frags? You should let the frags heal before you sell them. Also, selling 15 frags to 15 different people is probably going to be more trouble than its worth.

Ya, 15 is likely more than I would be looking at. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be stuck to 2 or 3. Since I have never fragged them before I wasn't sure.

I would just cut it into 7-8 nice size frags put one in your nano one in you home tank and sell the other 5-6 good luck post some pics when you frag if you could
