Little better pic of it

On your return line I would take the pvc off right above your valve and run flexible from there to your tank. Those elbows are killing your return flow.

Yup... lots of people run soft tubing straight from the pump and then hard plumb it. Supposedly it helps reduce the vibration noise. Seeing that you had to have that weird angle and everything, due to sump size restrictions. It may be better/neater to just run flex line up to the hole, and then the valve past that, then a WC tee.

The flex hose for a water change is a definite!! That's worthy of a trophy.

I'm sure I'll appreciate the taste back in my mouth after the countless siphon mouthfuls! :)

How many gal/hr

This was the sump from my old 75 gal. I had to make due with what I had. And the guy I had drill the tank put the holes on the wrong sides. The return was supposed to be on the right side. As far as the flex tubing, I get more than enough flow with the elbows. I wanted all pvc for ease of breakdown when we moved. I planned this setup knowing it would only be up for less than a year. We are currently house shopping and when we find the right place this will be a qt tank to stock the 200 and once I have my fish all thru qt, it will be a frag tank.

You need to use the flex hose for the return line from the valve to the tank and eliminate all of those elbows. Those are killing your water return.

Awesome! Since you have so much room behind your tank why not just paint the back glass with either black or dark blue paint?

I was thinking that. I've just got a small black backdrop from my last tank so I'll stick that on there and see how it looks.
