I have realized I like to have a lot of fish in my tank. So right now I have :
1 Anthias
1 Basselet
1 Orange Spot Goby
1 Hog Fish
1 Wrasse
1 Clown

Am I at a max?

BTW I have a Cleaner Shrimp a open brain and a yellow coral..

I prefer a tank with a light fish stocking. It puts more of an emphasis on inverts. Also less fish waste usually means easier nutrient control. If I would add anything it would be a small tang. I mean small, I like Kole Tang's, (Yellow-Eye Tangs, BristleTooth tang/ whatever you want to call them). It would help graze on algae and provide an active addition.

That sounds good and than you for the reply....

if you want less hassele i would just get another clown to make a mated pair? or get rid of the clown you have now and buy a mated pair......the tang would be cool to but "ich" can be a problem

everyone has their opinion, but for me I like a lot of fish. look at real reefs, they have a ton of fish. It just looks nicer with fish swimming everywhere. I love reef tanks, but it's always cool to see a fully stocked reef tank with a whole bunch of fish too. don't get oversized fish though, get what will look good in your size tank. (example: no big tang or trigger in a 75g, looks funny, kinda like godzilla in NYC. hehe)

So true. A small tank like a 75 with a tang looks kinda silly. I have recently changed from liking "big" fish like tangs and angels to appreciating small wrasses and dottybacks. Looks so much nicer to have 10 tiny fish in a small 75 than 1 or 2 big fish. Maybe one day when I have a tank larger than 2-300 gallons, I will get a tang again.

I agree. The way to have more fish is to have smaller fish. The only issue is that a lot of smaller fish tend to stick to the bottom. I'd get a second clown as your next fish. Just get one smaller than the one you have. They look great in pairs and eventually they will pair up (it can take a long time or can be very short).

The number of fish depends greatly on your filtration (especially skimmer) and husbandry. If you have a decent skimmer then you can have more fish than if you have a cheap one. If you do regular water changes you can have more fish than if you are not vigilant about it. Just remember that when you add fish you are looking at the size of the fish when it is full grown.

I like to think of fish as another way to help cpntrol water quality.Omnivores for algea control , gobys for SB control and a few for eye candy. Then you can go nuts with the coral just learn to frag and trim them.
