How many of you are using Hydor Koralias?

Hi all!

Just out of curiosity, how many of you are using Hydor Koralias? Does anyone local carry them? How do ya like 'em?

I'm thinking about getting 2 Koralia 1s or 2s and sticking in my tank for the majority of my flow. Can't beat the GPH and low watts!

I bought three of the Hydor 2's (600 gph) shortly after they first came out. I did have to send them back as they were part of the recall and we're popping my GFI's all the time.

I think their great pumps for the price. I'm primarily using them to eliminate dead spots in my 75 gallon reef, although after having recently increased flow to over 4000 gph, I think that problem may be solved. I hope they come out with a controller soon; that's the downside with these guys.

which ones are you running on your 60?

Right now im running one Koralia 2. Also a Maxi Jet 1200 with a medium flow MJ Mod kit. But im looking to get one more of the Koralia 2

Thanks for the reply, guys. I think I will probably try to get two Koralia 2s for my 45. Its got 3/8" glass, so I'm glad to hear that will work.

Imrunning 4 on my glasscages 180 & they hold on the glass pretty good im running the hk4,s.

The nano streams are back in brandon. A quick 45 second mod brings the 6025 up to around 1,100 gph. I like the one i'm using. Very nice tunze flow all the way across a 75.

Running two Koralia 4's in my 125. Love them. Will get another one when frags get bigger

I have 2 4's in my 75 g. The only problem I have is when the power goes out one does not start right back up and pops and knoks. I will probably replace it with the Tunze and see how I like it. The flow on the 4's are awsome. I just want to get a Tunze so I can compare the two.

For me, though, Neptune Sys. are about to release a Tunze controller for the AquaControllers... they sound really sweet, too... so I'm thinking about just making the plunge for some Tunze... I was really hoping this controller would work with the Koralias, but it won't.

I'm using one right now I picked up at the Critter and Eric at the Jungle (Murfreesboro) has ordered them in as I requested them. So I have to wait till he gets them in to get my other one for my 55gal. But I like them a lot.
