How many shrimp

Is there a limit to the shrimp I can keep in a 75 gal? I have a cleaner now. I have been thinking of adding a blood red, because I like the color and would like to have another guy in there cleaning. Recently I have been thinking of adding a peppermint shrimp to help keep my Aptasia under control. Is this too much? Will the peppermint get a long with a cleaner shrimp/blood red?

You should be fine with the shrimp you listed.

I had a pair of large skunk cleaner, a pair of blood red and a gang of peps, and 1 large Coral Banded... in a 55 gal.

everything was good till I added the CBS.

If you alreday have 1 shrimp make sur the new shrimp you add are the same size or larger. I have 2 cleaner shrimp in my 65g when I added 2 smaller peppermint shrimp the cleaners killed both within 2 days. I guess they were small enough to look like food.

Here's the bonus question. Am I asking for trouble to put a clam in with these guys?

i dont think a clam would pose a problem. anyone else think otherwise?

Doubt it, unless you have welks in your tank that would make a expensive meal out of your clam.
