How Many Times

Please excuse me if this seems like an ignorant question, but how many times would you allow a pair of ocellaris clowns to spawn before you attempt to actually try to raise the hatchlings?
I have a pair that have spawned twice now. I was trying to see how long the eggs took before they hatched. I would like to attempt to raise them the next time.

If you already have rotifer cultures up & running strong then start moving them. You will probably loose a few batches to lack of experience but that is how you learn.

Thanks. I'm starting to culture the phyto and rotofirs so that they will be ready for the next spawning. Also setting up a nursery tank. I placed a tile in the same place that the clown has previously laid eggs and hopefully I can transfer the tile to the nursery just before they hatch.

Do as much research as you can to make sure you understand the process otherwise if you just wing it your chances of success go down. Not to say that people have not just figured it out along the way, im just saying that your chances of success will increase if you understand what type of food to feed, how many times to feed, when you can introduce other types of food. What type of maintenance to do, what type of filtration to us at different stages of the growout process. All of these are basic questiins that you should know off the top of your head. If you dont then you need to do some more research. If you do know then kuddos. I can not stress that information is powerful. Good luck with your clowns.
