How many of you have used the Current USA Fission nano skimmer?

I use it and like it. I've had it since x-mas and has worked wonderfully for me. It's cheap and what you get for the money IMO is worth it. Your probably goona hear some bad reviews like; "it doens't pull dark enough skimmate", "there is too many micro-bubbles" and "I have to mess with it all the time".
1.) The reaction chamber is only 4-5'' high, so your not going to get the quality of skimmate that a big skimmer would.
2.) The mirco-bubbles are easliy disapated if you have a nano-cube or aquapod. If you were planning on using right in the display of a tank then this would be a valid arguement.
3.) Again in the aquapod or nano-cube the water level is easily controlled so the skimmer sits at the optimum depth. Another kind of tank you'll probably run into troubles.
To sum it IMO. Is great for the all in one tanks but not for the aga's unless you use a sump. Just don't expect this cheap little skimmer to perform like a larger one and I think you'd be happy with it. JMO

I'm setting up a 15 gallon (long), so I'd probably get micro bubbles then, huh?

like reefwick said yes it does work very well in nanocubes .....i have one and have been running it for about a month and a half and it works great. only thing is that with ur tank (without a sump) probably best bet is to get a hang on skimmer....possibly?
