How much can I bump up alk per day?

I have a 20 high with sps corals and I want to bump my alk up from 7.3 dkh to 9 dkh. That would take 15 ml of b-ionic part 1 to bump the alk to 9 dkh. How much can I safely add to the tank without burning the tips of the corals?

What are the rest of your parameters? Find where your imbalance is first so you know what you need to really fix. It may not just be your alk. pH, calcium, mag, alk all go hand in hand. I find if one is off one of the other parameters is off so I find whaere my imbalance is and then change slowely.

The cal is 450, I'll test mag and pH right now and let you know.

Alk, cal, and mag were all tested using red sea pro test kits. The ph was tested with an api test.

Alk: 7.3 dkh
Cal: 450 ppm
Mag: 1360 ppm
ph: 8.0 or 8.1 (hard to tell)

My rule of thumb is 1dkh bump per day is OK as long as its not consecutive days over and over....but .5 per day is better.
