How much do purple scorpionfish sell for?

one of my friends sells mainly rare fish online and i went over to his place to see a purple scorpionfish that he has. The marine center has one on there right now for $1200. His looks like a faded purple compared to that one. How much am i looking at spending, reasonably? Here is the link to the one on marine center.

It depends on the size and color. I picked one up at justrarefish.com for less than half that.

A LFS here in Oklahoma is selling one very similar to the one shown in your link for about $600.
