Golf Nut
I've had a BTA in my tank for about 6 weeks. Feed her a raw thawed shrimp about 2 - 3 times a week and she's doing great - attached to a rock within the first hour of being in the tank and hasn't moved since.
I have a 75 gallon tank (no sump - just 100 lbs of live rock, octopus HOB skimmer, HOB refugium for 'pods and a fluval 405 only running carbon and a bit of filter floss that's changed every 3 days.)
I had 3 koralia 3's in the tank along with the fluval return (fluval isn't much flow to speak about) and it seemed like a tornado in there, so I removed one of the Koralia 3's and have the 2 on alternate ends of the tank, about 4-5 inches below the waterline in the middle of the end panes kinda pointing towards each other to achieve random flow.
I realize this is useless without pics, but just want general advice on how much flow a BTA needs in a tank.
Is this enough flow for a BTA? It isn't moving/flowing its tips a lot, but still seems happy.
