I did have a mj600 on my tank and just added a mj1200 and I tell what a difference!!! The top of the water is rippling like crazy! Is this too much flow?? My gramma and cleaner shrimp dont seemed too thrilled about it.
No and they'll adjust but at least a 10x turnover (multiply 10x your total gallons to find the needed gph), i have a mj600 on a sure-flow mode (produces 1600 gph) and i still don't think it is enough.
