how much gap from overflow to tank top ? did i put too much space?

hi everyone,

i am having a custom tank made up...i plan on having some 6105's generating waves...

i had the tank built with a 2" gap from overflow to euro brace...

whats everyones thoughts? i am starting to think i made too much of a gap?

How big is the tank (dimensions)? In general 2-3 6105's are about equal to one wavebox in wave performance.

tank is 60x24x24

i figure 2 6105 performing the main wave action ...unless i should get a wavebox nano????

the 2 nano streams will be more random currents ...

If you figure that your return pump will likely put the water 1/4" to 1/2" above the bottom of the overflow teeth and the wave will likely be 3/4" to 1" high from a 6105 on either side run in inverse wave mode. It will probably be just about right.
