How much Kalk??

I currently have a 90 gal tank and was going to start adjusting my calcium using the Kalk mixture with either an aquadose dripper or some other similar method. Is there a way to know how much kalk to mix in the water and how fast to drip it or is testing and adjusting he only way?? Thanks for all your help.

IMO testing and adjusting is the best way as we all have different tanks with different requirements. What works for some will not work for others. Just start with a slow drip and remember that it takes a while to notice any changes so wait a day and test before re-adjusting.

How much do you need to raise you calcium? Kalk is not very good at raising calcium level's. It's better for maintaining it. If you need to raise you calcium a significant amount you'll want to use Calcium Chloride I use kent's Turbo Calcium but you can also use ice melters like Dow Flake www.buckeyefieldsupply.com/showproducts.asp?Sub=124&showspecials=124
