How much light for a gren plate coral

I have is about 12 inches down under the water and my t5s are about 4 inches above the water , if that too far shoudl it be closer to the surface or farther down, 216 watt t5s

plate corals do best on the sandbed at the bottom of the tank, make sure that it can't sting anything since they do tend to walk around the sandbed a bit

I agree with organism I have had my green plate for about a year. The plate should be on the sandbed because when it inflates it could push corals over or fall off the rocks. Organism are you sure the plate corals can walk around the tank because my plate has never moved just inflate. Vanquishxxxx after the plate expands you could probably surround the plate with corals after its inflated fully figure 2in from the size its inflated to because it will grow bigger and split.

i think T5 would be perfect. pc would be a lil low and MH would be excessive wt the heat =]
