How much/often do you feed your copper banded butterfly?

Hi all,

I've been a member for years now and don't think I have ever posted anything. I had an aptasia problem so I bought a 3"-4" copper banded butterfly. I have a 80 gallon reef that has been going for at least 6 years. Maybe even 7 or 8, I have lost count. The butterfly is the only fish in my tank along with 2 cleaner shrimp, snails, crabs etc. The butterfly decimated the aptasia in 2 days. Gone. He/she eats mysis like no tomorrow. My question is, how much and how often do other reef keepers feed them. It seems like mine is always hungry and I can't feed him enough. However, comparatively to other fish I have had in the past, I feel like I feed him a lot! Just curious if anyone else has any input.

Note: my tank was vacant of fish, and shrimp for 1.5 - years. I had a gold bar maroon clown fish from way early on as well as a 12 line wrasse until I introduced a yellow tang that killed them both along with a fire shrimp and a cleaner. I got the tang out when I realized what was happening but the damage was already done and the two fish and two shrimp did not recover. I lost interest for a long time. The butterfly has helped rejuvenate that.

I feed mine 3-4 times a day with a variety of foods. White worms and black worms, clams, squid, shrimp, and plankton. Almost everything needs a variety in their diet. Have had him for two years.

Mine is always hungry, he gets fed twice in the evening, and 3 to 4 times on the weekend
