Well, Im moving to vegas and I cant bring the tank... to long of a drive...

Im going to try to sell everything at once but I doubt that would happen.. in that case..

I have a pair of gold stripe maroons. They have been laying large batches of healthy eggs for 1 1/2 years. they are beautiful fish.

They have to go with theyre rock and anemone.

A 250.00 obta from the divers den. had it over 1 1/2 years, never split but its very large and has held its color.

and the rock is crawling with coral and weighs about 10-15 pounds

to me? priceless beyond a doubt... what would u pay?

pictures would be nice. hey i might even think about buying myself. im in buffalo. just a short drive

coming :)

I moved a month or so before this and it lost some color.

just make sure that you check a couple sites to see what places are charging. Also make sure that you take shipping into account and that everyone on this site is looking for a deal. Selling on RC you already have 3 strikes. 1. no guarantee 2. no combined shipping 3. everyone thinks of this place as "should be cheaper than a store"

Number 3 isn't true, most people charge very high prices on here it seems.

I'd pay $250 for the pair of GSM's. I'd pay $50 for the BTA. You asked what people would pay, this is what I would honestly, seriously pay. If I were forced to buy the rock in order to get the clown pair, I'd pay $75. or $7.50 a lb., but I have 300 lbs of rock that looks the same.

Heterodonut- Right, its not about making u buy the rock, its that the clowns have laid eggs on the same spot forever and I want them to be happy lol

And the nems foot is so big I could never get it out of the cave... It has a resident pistol shrimp too

So 250 for a pair of breeding clowns? Sounds about right. They lay theyre eggs at the same minute on the same day like clockwork. 3 days after the eggs hatch they lay agian.

clayton - its a bta :)

Tourkid, Believe me, if I got the clowns from you, I'd want them to be just as happy. I think Wilkerson in her book describes clowns laying on a tile like clockwork, but when the tile's angle got tilted about 10 degrees off, the clowns stopped laying. Tile was reset to "proper" angle, and bam a nest. My personal experience is if the clowns feel safe, comfortable, happy and are well fed, they're gonna drop eggs somewhere. BTW, my estimate of the worth is slanted that I value a spawning pair of clowns more than a BTA. I am in the market for a spawning pair of GSM, not looking for another BTA at this time. The BTA is nice, and someone may pay 100, or even 150 for it, but not me. I hope whoever gets all of the above gives them a great home. If I lived closer I'd be knocking on your door!

Tourkid, does obta stand for orange bta? If so, the 2nd picture of the BTA is definitely orange, but the first pic that you posted seems more green--are they the same anemone? Gorgeous fish, btw :)

jamie, yep they are the same, the tenicles are all half green half orange. still hafta take pics today.. lol

Kodiak 5500, your not seriously thinking about buying the pair and bta and placing them in a 15gal nano are you? That is torture and will no doubt bring the demise of a great pair of clowns not to mention the anem. Maroon clowns need a lot of territory. and the bta needs a lot of light.

nothing is for sale ok? Im just gathering info, and enjoying showing off my clowns lol

Finally took pictures!!!
