Clam Addict!
How much water flow do you have in your tank with your clams? Currently I have an Iwaki 30RLXT that put out about 900GPH in my 90G. The output is divided between 2 Sea Swirls. I have been have a problem with ditritus buildup and my stonies havn't exactly been happy with the flow either. So, I added 2 Seio 820s to boost my total flow to 2,540GPH. I have 6 clams, 4 Croceas, 1 Maxima and 1 9" Derasa. So far my Creceas and Maxima have not been bothered by the flow, however my Derasa has not liked the flow at all and it is retracting the mantle. It was coming back out a little more a couple hours later and I believe it is just needing to get used to the new flow. What I would like to know is what size tank, types of clams, and how much flow do you have?
