Just wanted to know what is the gerneal concensis re the times for feeding--once daily? 2x a week--please advise

i fed twice a day light for about 4 days then i take an every other day feeding aproach for the last three days. i feed a small amount of grindle worms in am and then a half cube of mysis in pm on feeding days. this is for a 55gallon tank fully stocked with corals and lots of shrimp/hermits and 5 fish.

My 55 SPS with 4 fish gets fed 1 time every 3 days. Around half teaspoon of spectrum thera A. Fish are doing great and Phosphate is low to none.

twice a day everyday with a variety of foods. fish are fed once at about 1:30-2:00 and then again around 7:30-8:00. no [problems so far and feeding are light because theres only 3 fish.

I bet your tank looks beautiful! low feeding means no algae and cystal clear water. corals must be happy too.

FWIW, I "overfeed" my tank often. I have 0 algae, 0 nitrates, and 0-.01 phosphates. Big skimmer and a big fuge make a lot of difference.

oh yeah im sure it is. you have great flow with filtration obviously...did not intend to say it couldnt be done. but you have GREAT FILTRATION.

Lately I have been feeding a few times a day every day. I have great filtration too. :)

It's funny to watch the tang poo get blasted into 13290481723 pieces by the penductors.
