how often should i feed my acan

I feed roti and mysis to micros and acans. Even small micros can get down mysis, so why not fill them up? I feed my corals daily if I have time. More food = more growth and better color IME.

Hey there, I feed my Acans and Micros every other day with Hikari mysis shrimp. I believe you get more product and fatter shrimp with this brand. I let them sit under 250 W 20K MH. Maintains excellent color.

I'd do 2 or 3 times a week. But my tank is 80% micros and acans that feeding them everyday is too much bioload.

Yeah, all delight is right. I do a 20% water change weekly in my prop tank with such frequent feedings and have a large cleanup crew.

when we first purchased our acan, with 3 heads, fed it everyday for 1month and now have 18 heads (15 medium heads).
so now we're just feeding it every other day.
