How often to feed BTA

I just got a new BTA for my cinnamon to host in. The BTA is HUGE ( to my standards at least ) when fully opened it's the size of one of those small hand held basketballs. I have been feeding it once a week, either silversides or freeze dried krill, or whatever else it catches when i feed my fish. Every time i feed though, it's mouth opens wide like it's waiting to get fed?

Just wanted to see how often everyone else feeds theirs?

I feed mine silversides about every 3 - 4 days.

When I feed the fish, I see my bta's mouth kind of move to be open a little bit too.

Probably feels the food in the 'air', I thought.

Is that what you are talking about?

Mine is about 6" wide at this point (just the base). I shoot a dozen or so mysis at it every few days. There are a number of people saying recently that the larger bulkier silversides aren't actually healthy for anemones (most of it won't get decomposed, gut root, etc). Hard to tell. Mine has chowed down on both.
