Title says it all. How much does the water level have to drop before the osmolator is activated? My current Tsunami AT1 can only maintain the water level in my sump within about a 1.5" range from high to low and I would like to do better...
Wow that is awesome. I get about 1" of evaporation a day from my sump due to the heat, fans, etc. so it sounds like the Osmolator will be working overtime and turning on and off many many times per day. Is that going to be a problem in any way?
When the Osmolator is tripped on it waits about 8seconds to start pumping water to make sure it isn't just a momentary splash. Then, it runs for 15seconds after sensing full to prevent a constant off and on. It isn't so bad for the unit but the constrant start and stop of the pump which makes a slight whining noise will drive you insane if we didn't have these time delays. It is one thing for it to run for a while every couple hours but 20 times a minute would make you crazy so we added a time delay.
