How should i clean my 10 gal tank RDSB which

Darn cat took it as a litter box... I took all the sand out and despose of it.

I poured bleach with water and letting it sit.. How/ what else can i do to get the urine smell out...????


Dont want to throw tank out , its a well custom built 10gal tank.

I don't know much about cat biology, but guessing fromthe smell of cat pee I'd think their urine is heavy in ammonia. I'd say just let it cycle itself out and you should be fine. Ammonia is a major part of fish waste and its nothing out of the norm. Bacteria will populate accordingly and process the waste and remove the smell.

A wipe or soak with vinegar an water and a good risne rinse would be helpful.imo.
