General rule is 6 months. One year recommended. Though people usually can't wait that long.

6 month is a general rule. Did u use mature live rocks to start with? If yes, then u can start sooner.

6 months to a year. Your tank will go through changes and could become unbalanced at times.

What is the hardiest and most beginner friendly anemone? That one else should start with ? Or is it all just personal preference

The easiest(compare to other more delicate ones) anemones are rock flower anemone, maxi-mini carpet anemone. They don't host clownfish, but they can be quite hardy.

Generally, anemones are not easy pets for beginners.
