So I hate glueing mushroom corals so I'm trying a new method, see below on how I did it and what I used. Hope it helps someone one day.
Materials I used, bird mesh, hobby knife, 4oz specimen cup, rubble rock and sand.

Cut a hole from the top of the specimen cup

Cut slits on the sides of the cup

Fill with sand about half way, rinse sand if you used dry sand then place a layer of live rock rubble on the top.

Here's the floating mushroom

Add the mushroom with tank water

Place bird mesh on top then use the cover to hold the mesh in place, then put in the tank, wait a week or two till the mushroom sticks to one of the rocks then glue the rocks to a frag plug or another rock in your tank

Hope I helped and good luck.
