So I tried to pill one of the anemone off the shell, for science

And it actually came out working.
I started by pilling off from the edge, just used my nail, and slowly towards the middle. Once I lifted the edge up, pilling the rest is not so difficult, just do it slowly.
After taken off, the edge was a bit damaged, but the middle part was still good. I think the outside ring of its foot is not even part of its real foot. It is just thin skins to increase to its grab.
When I put it on the rock, it did not attach. I tried to hold it for couple minutes, didn't help. So I used some glue to attach it to the rock and crossed my fingers.
Two days later, I found it moved away! The place where I glued it still had the glue left there. The anemone is opening and eating, looks just fine.
Though it may be a bit rough to try, I think it is a successful experiment. I may later try it on the rest of the anemones on the shell to see if I was just lucky or it actually works.
BTW, that shell is now half buried in sand because there is only anemones in one ends.
