how to breed clams?

Hey, I was just wondering how hard it is to breed clams? has anyone had experience with doing this? And how do you breed clams, I have been looking around but i cant seem to find anything to tell me how.
Any help would be great

it's not something you can do in a tank at home, they are broadcast spawners, making it very difficult to control in such a small environment.
