How to clean osmolator reservoir

I have been using the bucket and lid that came with the osmolator to hold fresh ro water for top off. I have been using it for about 9 months now and have noticed that the bucket and lid are starting to smell of mold or mildew. There is a slick yellowish film on the inside of the bucket. What is the best way to clean this? Chlorine bleach or some other product?

It is just some bacteria and it won't harm anything but I would just use tap water and a sponge.
