How to clean

I have not yet bred fish, but I am wondering how to clean the bottom of the hatching/raising tank without touching/harming the fry. Thanks!

I don't clean it until the fry are probably 2 weeks old.. Really after meta you can use a scrub brush on the bottom. They are pretty good to get out of the way. The main reason I don't clean it is because I try and keep water changes at a minimum until meta has passed and they look strong. Then I add a sponge filter and fill the other half of the tank slowly and then they get cleaned / water changed weekly.
