Ok, so here's the situation, about a week ago I got 5 mother colonies off a local reefer/ buddy, he has some of the most impressive tanks I've ever seen, very stable and extreme growth, he changed the lights in his frag tank from AI hydras to Kessils A350s well his Montis were less than thrilled and browned out on him. So with this being said he needed to make room for acro frags, and sold me the montis for next to nothing, now him and I both know they will color back up over time, but my question is, what can I do to help the process??. Now I know keep params stable, quality lighting, good flow, but is there something possibly more advanced or not so we'll known that I can try? Here's my info

70 cube frag tank
AI hydra led ( run mostly blues)
2 mp10s
Cal 420
alk 9 dkh
Mag 1350
Phosphates 0
Salinity 1.025
I do dose lugols iodine and test all params in a reg basis (weekly)
I'm running a phosphate reactor w rowaphos in it
And do bi weekly water changes
And only keep a pair of picassos in there with a manderin ( fuge with herds of pods )

From my experience certain montiporas seem to develop thin and/or discolored tissue when one or both of the following occur. Low ALK (<7.5) and low mag (<1150), specifically the ALK. I've this then most common with montipora danai, setosa, and undata.

Seeing said levels are in check, I would expect an improvement and relatively fast.

Yep all levels check
I keep my nitrates at 0,
AI hydras are set as followed:
Royal blue 90%
Blues 90%
Uv60%
Whites20%
No reds no greens
Lights run on a 11 hour cycle which ramps up and down

The montis are as follows
Superman
Undata
Sunset
Sand dollar
Jedi mind trick
Jason fox mystic
Oops 6 colonies not 5 lol

Light adjustment/time while keeping the good husbandry on them. That's about it. It was the initial light switch that "shocked" them.

Agreed on the switch to lighting. May want to reduce the intensity a bit or shorten the photo period until everything comes around . LED's are able to penetrate deeper than MH or T5s.
