Before I get beat up on choosing a rimless and now want a cover, I chose this tank because of the slim overflow and all around glass and the size. Most covered tanks seemed to have black on back meant for walls. I wanted to see the tank as more transparent to the landscape when walking into the main door. The rimless effect looks nice but has its negatives.
I want the to look like they are flying but without flying out of the tank!
I'd like to cover it somehow with a netting or mesh in such a way it is easy to remove and low profile. I was thinking a thin frame with rigid mesh of some sort so that the lid less than inch. I have it in mind to paint the radion mounts silver to blend into background...the black distracts so something which looks metalic but reef safe if its possible.
Is there anything I can do in the short term for safety which may be easy and not be a complete mess or hassel? And are there products available to modify or buy to fit this tank...63"x31.5"×23"
