How to determine ICH!!

i think my blue hippo might have ich... as ive been told lots of them get it when they first get in ur tank..

how can i tell?? i know a bunch of white spots are a sign.. but is that it?

anyone have any pictures showing a fish with ich?

how can i treat the fish or can i ?

any help would be awesome thanc

Ich usually looks like little grains of sand attached to the body. Sometimes they will scratch up against the rocks, or lose their appetite. I think there are a few threads in the fish disease forum.
Try to quarantine the fish ASAP. if it is showing symptoms of an illness.

There is plenty of information about ich. If the fish is breathing heavy or fast or if you see it move it's head from side to side very fast it probably has ich. You should also see the small white spots on the clear portions of it's fins. It is very easy to treat in a seperate tank with copper but eradicating it from your tank is another story.
Look up ich on RC and you will find more than you need.
