This isnt my first nem, but it is the first time ive had a nem decide to live under a ledge in the tank, gets plenty of light, but spot feeding it has proven to be an issue. anyone have any ideas to feed him? Ive tried adjusting flow to get him to move but he hasnt yet and Ive had bad luck with pulling off the foot of a nem to move him to a different point in the tank. and hell probably just end up back at the same spot

Usually you just touch a piece of food to the tentacles and the anemone does the rest. They transport the food to the mouth and ingest it.

i tried that, maybe I have to get it closer to the mouth. hes in such an odd spot thats hard to do...bah.

ill get pics in a bit

the MHs just kicked off and the flash doesnt show the light he gets, but he seems happy there, just cant really feed him easily. managed to get a piece of formula 1 frozen block to him, I think he got it....

hes about 3-4 inches in diameter and has been bubbled up and happy since going in. he was a clone of my first one that I sold some years back, the guy I sold it to gave it to me now that my tank seems well settled.

Try a turkey baster to send some mysis or whatever you feed down to it. Squirt the food below it and it should float back up onto the tentacles.
